Who Can Get the CDCP for Seniors and Adults?
- Not have private dental insurance coverage
- Be a resident of Canada for tax purposes
- File an annual tax return
- Have an adjusted family net income of less than CAD 90,000
To What Degree Will the CDCP Provide Coverage?
- Under CAD 70,000 → 100% covered by the government; you pay nothing
- CAD 70,000 – CAD 79,999 → 60% covered; you pay 40%
- CAD 80,000 – 89,999 → 40% covered; you pay 60%
- These percentages apply to the CDCD established fee. If your dentist’s usual fees exceed those, you will be responsible for the excess.
